What is the PCAAZK?

The Phoenix Chapter of AAZK is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of animal care professionals such as zookeepers and aquarists, as well as volunteers, public educators, and community members who are passionate about animals.

AAZK is national organization, with chapters across North America, that are dedicated to excellence in animal care, professional development, and supporting global conservation efforts.

Mission Statement

To support zoo personnel in their roles as animal care givers, public educators, and conservationists; to support professional growth by providing resources for
continuing education; to enhance animal care through enrichment; and contribute to global conservation efforts through fundraising.
